Event Information

The McBains are the Essex based father and son duo well known to their many property investing friends and associates as Ian and Ian. They are professional, committed, award winning property investors who use a unique approach in that they specialise in helping busy people, who don’t have the time to invest in property, find a suitable solution. Their main strategy at present is to acquire properties that can be used as serviced apartments then maximise the cash flow on each one.

Both have been hands on landlords and describe their property journey up until 2012 as slightly haphazard. They bought their first investment property in 1990, quickly followed by a second property, a one bedroom flat, which they refurbished and sold for a modest property. Several other property projects followed over the next few years during which they openly admit they made every mistake in the book but somehow always managed to cover or recoup their costs.

Between them, Ian and Ian have so far raised over £650,000 in joint venture finance and are currently working on a commercial conversion deal to convert a disused warehouse into 14 luxury flats. This particular project which has a GDV of almost £2m has attracted a number of potential investors, many willing to fund the full amount of £1m necessary to develop the project. The McBains intend on continuing to grow their portfolio of highly lucrative serviced apartments throughout 2016 and are willing to share their strategy with you on Tuesday 9th February.
